An fascinating discussion is worth comment. I believe that you should write more on this matter, it might not be a taboo subject however typically individuals are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

I am going through the worst thing ever! My husband was diognosed with schizophreia when he was only eight years old,and was never given medication until he had a very violent episode at the age of eighteen,at that point he was put in prison for three years of his life.Yeah they gave him tranqualizers to "keep him calm" then a few years later had another violent episode!Went to jail again, and we lost everthing! The mental health professionals seem to drug him up and send him home! Now I am on a mission to help my husband and our family. He is right now in a hospital but he has only been there for 1 week, and they are already talking about letting him go home!Everything I read says it takes a doctor about 6 months of observation to correctly diognose this illness! The more I learn,I am finding out that bipolar manic depressive can go along with,or be misdiognosed as schizophrenia. How can I get these so called docs to find out the right meds? And once on the meds are my little girls and I safe? HELP sincerly Dawn Roberts IN

I need this answered in a hurry. My husband has seizures, has bipolar as well as copd and asthma. He was diaganosed with the 1st 2 in the early 197o's while serving in the navy. The bipolar was diagnosed last year, but he was diagnosed with mental problems with the seizures. The VA administraters say that the seizures caused his mental problems. The early diagnoses says differently. I was wondering if seizures caused mental problems. Please answer as soon as possible because I am going to appeal their decision on this. Sincerely, Rae Moore
