		<description>The symptoms for HIV (i.e., infection with the virus that causes AIDS) are usually similar to those you might have with a flu bug: lack of energy, swollen glands, fever, perhaps diarrhea.  Obviously, these are common symptoms for influenza, but also may indicate HIV infection.  If you&#039;ve had unprotected sex or shared syringes to inject (illegal) drugs, you very well may be at risk for HIV infection. You should go to your local health department or physician and get a blood test for HIV.  The costs are usually low and the results are kept confidential.</description>
